Curly hair day

It's been raining here off and on for the last few days. All this increased humidity has really put the curl in Thomas' hair!

Little Swimmer

Thomas really seems to enjoy our near daily trips to the pool. He's always been a pretty good kicker! We're really enjoying the warm weather here and we know it won't last long!

Cruisin'...

Thomas loves the coffee table, and is very good at keeping it clutter-free! He can cruise up and down the length of it now, and loves to be chased round and round it by daddy.

The House

Here is a photo of the house, we did our inspections earlier this week and passed with flying colors. Now to sit and wait until all the closing details are finalized... Can't wait to show it off to visitors!

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated Steve's first Fathers day with a pancake breakfast at the Halfmoon Diner - yum! He is wearing his new T-shirt - a gift from Thomas.

Our news...

We made an offer on a house in Niskayuna which was accepted yesterday! We are very excited and scared. So much to do! We will have the surveys done next week and will take some photos so you can see what it looks like. It is a 3 bed, 1.5 bath 1950s colonial, and is only 5 minutes to Steve's office.

For future reference: do not give Thomas a spoonful of blueberries just before a sneeze! Good thing Kristin wasn't wearing white.

Eyes Wide Shut

Thomas has learned to anticipate the flash on the camera - which makes the timing of photo taking more tricky! Today we are meeting Steve for lunch and viewing a few more houses in Niskayuna. We'll take any excuse to see daddy at lunchtime!

Goodbye Nat

We had a great visit with Natalio and it went all too fast! Yesterday morning Thomas and I took him to Peebles Island before meeting Steve for lunch at Cafe 1795. We hope to see him again very soon!

Bagels

We've had a great time having Natalio here! Thomas is loving the extra attention. We went to Stuyvesant Plaza for lunch yesterday so Nat could feed his bagel craving - it was delicious! It rained all day yesterday, so it felt like we were back in England again.

Company coming

Our friend Natalio is coming to visit today for a few days, so Thomas has been helping us clean up and move furniture in preparation. He follows from room to room as we tidy and put away. All this unaccustomed activity is very confusing!

Nap time?

Thomas has invented a fun new game - he shows all the signs of being ready for his nap, crankiness, rubbing eyes, yawning etc., and then as soon as you've laid him in the crib and shut the door, he gets his second wind and starts doing calisthenics. At least someone is enjoying themselves!

Moving on up...

Now that Thomas is able to pull himself up a little better, he needs to work on getting back down! He's very happy with his new skill.
