Happy Happy Happy

Thomas is trying hard to imitate the words we say, and has added an endless loop of 'happy, happy, happy' to his repetoire! He also says 'tak' which we think is Czech, 'cracker' and 'bird'.

Thomas' new 'do

I gave Thomas an updo the other day because his bangs were constantly getting into his eyes - mean mommy! Could a haircut be in his future?

Rainy Friday

We're inside today because of the drizzly weather - but Thomas likes the new playroom setup!

Moreau Lake State Park

We went to a BBQ yesterday at Moreau Lake State Park in the Adirondacks with the GE Newcomers club. It was absolutely beautiful, although it we had drizzly rain for most of the day. Hopefully next time we can swim.
We woke up at 2am last night with a thunderstorm directly overhead, the loudest I have heard in some time! Unbelievably, Thomas slept through the whole thing but I was convinced we would wake up this morning to find the neighborhood in shambles.

Enjoying the backyard

Thomas and I with the housewarming plant from Dad and Suzanne that I repotted - let's see how long we can keep them alive! Thomas has already ripped out most of the basil I planted. We've been spending afternoons in the backyard playing in the wading pool and watching the bird feeder. This summer is going fast!

Walking Video

We've been making use of the new backyard with some freebies from our new neighbors - a wading pool and toddler swing! Thomas has been improving his walking skills and we will upload a short movie to the 'Videos' section showing him in action.

Thomas has been recovering from a head cold he caught at playgroup last week. He seems to be on the mend now, just in time for Steve to come down with it! We've put a lot of miles on the rocking chair in the last few days.

Home at last

The move went really well, and we are (mostly) unpacked and loving the new house! We will try to get a photo gallery up soon with photos of the house and the Gustafsons visit.
