Apple Picking

We went to Riverview Orchards on Sunday afternoon for a hayride and applepicking - Thomas loves all kinds of fruit and was happy to chow down right there in the apple orchards.

First Haircut

Thomas got his hair cut this morning, and really didn't enjoy himself! Even watching Daddy get his hair cut afterwards didn't help, although the lollipop and riding in the toy car did a little. We went for a celebratory lunch afterwards and took a picture of the new shorter haircuts. Thomas looks like a proper little boy now! The barber shop sent us home with a certificate for his baby book and quite a few locks of blond hair in an envelope.

Larkfest

Today we went to Larkfest in downtown Albany with another neighborhood family. It was a beautiful day, 80 degrees and sunny for the first time in a few weeks! This is a photo of Steve and Thomas enjoying a BBQ sandwich for lunch. There were several stages with live music and entertainment and a kids area, vendors and lots of food sales.

We stopped for a coffee near one of the stages and Steve took a video of Thomas dancing sitting on mom's lap.

Big Red N

Today Thomas and I went to pick up our pool passes to use the pool at Niskayuna High School which is about 2 blocks away. Does the school logo look familiar? The first time we saw it on a bumper sticker I did a double take. We'll have to get one and shock everyone when we drive back to KS.

Sunny days

Steve and Thomas playing in the backyard after lunch. We're really enjoying having him close by! We had a quiet and drizzly Labor Day weekend, including two barbeques with two different neighbors. The sun has finally come back out and we are trying to get outside as much as we can!
