Weekend update

Here are some recent photos of Andrew at 3 months, and a moms group outing to an apple orchard. That was hard work with two kids and only two hands!

Nature Hike

GE sponsored a family nature hike this weekend at Indian Kill Nature Reserve, so we headed out for our first hike with two baby carriers! It was a perfect day and a beautiful walk. ( 'Kill' is Dutch for 'creek'.)

Elephant Roll

Thomas demonstrating his new skill - somersaults! We call it the elephant roll because he was taught to raise one arm (like a trunk) before putting it on the ground between his leg so mom could help pull him over. Now he does it by himself.

Modelling Boys

Thomas is modelling the latest in fall fashions - the mixing bowl hat! The novelty of the potty has started to wear off, so after two weeks of no messy diapers they've returned! We'll keep trying and hope for the best.

Andrew is modelling the onesie sent from Steve's iVillage colleagues, as well as the blanket Aunt Stephanie made. Thanks!! He is quickly growing out of his 3-6 month clothes and I've got to go through Thomas' old clothes box again to find the next size up. He is going to be a big boy!

Last night Steve and I had our first non-family babysitters over, the neighbors came over after the boys went to sleep and we went out to dinner. It was fantastic, and we hope to reciprocate for them soon so we can go again!

Visit to the Dr

Andrew had his doctors appointment today and did great! He's now weighing in at 13lb 12oz (75th percentile) and 25-1/4" long (95th percentile). He also got 3 shots which he didn't like. We can't believe how fast he's growing.

Here he is sporting a very fancy after-bath hairdo.
