Teething Biscuit Joy

Andrew tried out his first teething biscuit this week and enjoyed it immensely - then went straight into the bath!

On the mend

No new photos today, we have all been sick recently so we're not very photogenic right now! I've had a head cold for about a week now which everyone else now has, and at the end of last week I caught a stomach bug which took me out of action for about 24 hours. I'm still feeling a bit sore and tired, and Steve has been feeling off as well for most of the weekend. Both of us are tired of wiping noses, both our own and the kids! We should have bought stock in Kleenex.

Hopefully this week will bring better health...

Here is our little finger painting artist hard at work. He's been coloring and painting up a storm lately, with all this cold weather here we're looking to keep busy inside. After a recent marker session, we went through his coloring book and he selected a few drawings to share. He named specific family members that he wanted each one to go to - so watch that mailbox!

Double Trouble

The boys have started taking baths together every night, which is usually a quick affair! But they both seem to enjoy the company. Andrew is really sitting up great now, and will rock back and forth if you put him on his hands and knees although he isn't getting up there himself-yet.

Last night was the open house for Thomas' new preschool, it's hard to believe he is almost old enough for that! The competition for preschool places in this area is crazy. Thomas got one of 2 remaining spots in his two day 3 year old class that will start in September.

This morning Steve and I each dressed one of the boys separately, but they both ended up in blue stripes! It made for a good photo op.

Shopping Day

Today we took the boys to Toys R Us to spend the gift cards that they got for Christmas. We had intended to get a larger car seat for Thomas so that both boys could move up, but instead helped Thomas pick out some fun toys! He had a hard time waiting until we got home to open them and play. Afterwards we went to Olive Garden for lunch with another Christmas gift card. Thanks everyone for a fun day!

Sitting Pretty, take 2

Andrew is getting pretty good at sitting up, I think his record is about 30 seconds now! He's pretty pleased with himself and enjoys seeing the world from this view. He had his 6 month checkup earlier this week and the doctor was impressed by his motor skills- he's very strong for such a little guy!

New Eating Arrangements

Andrew has been doing great with sitting up, so we moved Thomas up into a booster seat so that Andrew could try out the high chair. So far, everyone's enjoying the change!

Christmas 2007

We've finally managed to get a photo album online with photos from Christmas. We had a great trip to KS, with lots of visits with family, great food, and fun presents. We arrived back home on New Years Eve, and pulled into the garage just in time to hear the countdown on the radio. We've hit the ground running with school projects, unpacking, laundry, and getting back on schedule!
